HBA: Committed to Integrity... Building with Quality

What is the Huntingdon County Builders Association? Why should I do business with one of their members instead of someone else in the building industry?

The Huntingdon County Builders Association is a nonprofit trade association representing the construction industry. It is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. The association's membership consists of home builders, remodelers, subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.), distributors and financial institutions.

In order for the Huntingdon County Builders Association to stand out in the forefront of the building industry, the association has voluntarily adopted the Contractor Quality Commitment program. This program is endorsed by the PBA.

All members of the association must meet and adhere to the CQC requirements, a series of minimum performance standards, and must abide by the association's code of ethics.

The CQC program was designed to increase the level of performance and professionalism of association members and to give the housing consumer confidence when choosing to do business with a member of the Huntingdon County Builders Association.

A directory of membership can be obtained by calling the association's executive officer at (814) 644-0621.
