All Pennsylvania home improvement contractors must now be registered with the state Attorney General's office. PBA's extensive Member Registration Resource Center helps educate members about the requirements of the new home improvement contractor registration law. Member Rebate Program surpasses $100,000 in rebates back to members

PBA announces PaCAH summer fundraisers
Join PBA Friday, July 24 for two exciting opportunities to support the association’s political action committee. PBA will host a clay shoot from 1-4 p.m. at the Warrington Hunting Club, Wellsville, along with an evening reception at the Wyndham Gettysburg. That evening join PBA at a reception with invited guest speaker James Lee, president of Harrisburg-based Susquehanna Polling and Research. All proceeds support political candidates who appreciate the benefits a strong homebuilding industry in Pennsylvania.
New legislation seeks to spur housing industry growth
Rep. John C. Bear, R-Lancaster, introduced legislation Wednesday to create a program called the Pennsylvania Housing and Economic Revitalization Act. In conjunction with PBA, local builders associations and various other stakeholder groups, the legislation, if passed, would provide economic incentives to encourage new home construction, renovations and home ownership.
