West Branch Board Contributes to Foundation for Housing

The West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, a local association of PBA located in the Northcentral region, has made a sizable contribution to our PA Foundation for Housing. At their Board of Directors meeting in late September, a motion made by Walt Nyman (a Life Director with his local, PBA and NAHB) to contribute $1,000 to the Foundation passed unanimously.

“As a community projects contribution, West Branch Susquehanna BA was happy to give this donation to the Foundation,” says Nyman. “There is a lot of need there to support our future workforce, so it was an easy decision to make.”

The PA Foundation for Housing was established by PBA in 2012 to support programs that ensure the growth and development of the home building industry by strengthening educational opportunities. In particular, the Foundation supports the many initiatives of our Endorsed Trade Programing. Last school year, this program certified over 800 students who completed the training and instruction they will need to begin a successful career.
