Insightful Discussions during Senior Officers Forum
A new addition to the Board of Directors meeting proved very valuable! On Saturday morning, the 2017 Senior Officers hosted an open forum for discussion about the direction of our association and upcoming initiatives for next year. Topics brought up included the next generation of membership, elimination of outdated policies and ideas to generate new members while maintaining current relationships.
Opportunities to Learn at Two Seminars
There were two popular seminars over the weekend offered to our members. The first, hosted by the PBA Housing Finance Committee, was a panel of experts providing insights into how builders can access special housing finance opportunities in Pennsylvania. Thank you to panelists David Corwin, Housing Programs Director with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Coleen Baumert, Director of Homeownership Programs with the PA Housing Finance Agency for joining us!
The second presentation was the “Prospects to Profit$” seminar featuring Rick Munson, President/CEO of Paramount Business Development. This workshop focused on turning prospects into a raving fans with lead generation, follow up processes and important tips for turning quotes into profit.
Over $14,000 Raised for BUILD-PAC
Friday night’s BUILD-PAC reception featured special guest Representative Scott Perry who spoke to our members about the importance of the upcoming election. This event, along with contributions made during the Board of Directors meeting, raised over $14,000 for BUILD-PAC to help them surpass their cycle goal for this year. Thank you to everyone for your support!
Another huge thank you to our partners JRG Advisors, EK McConkey, and BDX for networking with our members and assisting them with questions over the weekend. We appreciate you sharing your time with us!
