DiPasquale Named as PBA’s Director of Endorsed Trade Programs
HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) and the Pennsylvania Foundation for Housing (PFH) recently contracted with David DiPasquale of Bedford, PA to serve as Director of Endorsed Trade Programs. DiPasquale replaces Tom Turnbaugh who retired after seven years in that capacity. Mr. DiPasquale was the Administrative Director of the Bedford County Technical Center through June 2017. Previously he had been Supervisor of Career and Technical Education at Monroe Career and Technical Institute in Bartonsville, PA. He also taught Electrical Occupations at Columbia Montour AVTS in Bloomsburg, PA for twenty-two years.
DiPasquale will be responsible for management of PBA’s endorsement operations throughout the state. The Director is responsible for connecting local builders to career and technical centers in Pennsylvania - helping to build partnerships that will aid in creating the next generation of skilled home builders.
“My goal in this exciting new role is to become an asset to schools and local builders, helping to foster strong and lasting partnerships in the home building trades,” DiPasquale said. “There’s a shortage of skilled workers in the home building industry in Pennsylvania, and PBA’s Endorsed Trade Program helps fill the gaps in cultivating skilled workers. We offer technical center and college student’s industry-recognized certifications from the PBA and access to grants and scholarships to finish their education. Our students can also participate in their local builders’ associations,” he added.
